Dreaming Beneath the Rain
Nestled by the brook, a small girl with fox-like ears drifted into slumber. A broad leaf bent above her, shielding her from the falling rain, each drop sliding away in silver threads.
Her pillow was as white as a cloud, her dress soft as mist, and her breath rose and fell in quiet rhythm with the forest. Daisies leaned gently toward her, their petals kissed by droplets, as though keeping watch over her fragile dreams.
The rain sang softly upon leaf and stream, weaving a lullaby only the forest knew. And within that melody, she slept in perfect peace.
